Artist bio

Steven Lungley is a native of Toronto, Canada where he spent nine years in art schools studying graphics and film. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in film from Ryerson University.

He has been working as a still photographer in both the media and fine art fields for many years. His photos have been published extensively and his fine art prints hang in private collections in North America and Europe.

In the past two years he has turned much of his attention back to film, working as the director of photography on sixteen short films, including "Hey Kitty", his directorial debut (made possible with funds from the Ontario Arts Council).

He is currently working on "Slinky", a still photography exhibit; "Bedtime" another short film as director; and is in discussions with several directors to make feature-length films as the director of photography.

Mr. Lungley resides in Toronto, Canada.
